Hamilton IslandIf you want to spend a dream holiday, you just need to find a way to reach an incredibly beautiful place that everyone knows. Approximately 900 km north of Brisbane, in the heart of the Whitsundays, Hamilton Island is located. This is one of the most accessible tourist islands in the Great Barrier Reef in Australia.

It is the only Queensland island with an airport, and you can fly directly to it from some strategic points such as Brisbane, Gold Coast, Cairns and Townsville in Queensland, and Melbourne, Sydney and Uluru. If traveling by land along the coast of Queensland, you can then catch the fast ferry to Hamilton Island, Airlie Beach, south of the town of Bowen.

The island is well known as a kind of tropical paradise with beautiful beaches, underwater coral and variety of activities such as water sports and adventure. With a wide stretch of coral reef, snorkeling and diving are among the most popular water activities, although it is very common to see people water skiing, windsurfing, sailing, kayaking and fishing.
